Benson became a follower of Christ at a young age. Even then he began living out God’s call on his life to “go, preach and heal the nations".

Now a young man, Benson wanted to enrich his understanding of his Christian faith. He journeyed away from his home among the Turkana to enroll in the International School of Missions (ISOM) in Thika, Kenya. ISOM, a discipleship and missions training and outreach program, is sponsored by the African Christian Church of East Africa.

After completing his training and internship, Benson returned home with a vision to plant 100 churches in ten years. In just two years, he launched eight new churches and introduced more than 3,500 people to Christ.

By January 2008 Benson had planted 73 churches…
